From Hinge to Hitched

March 30, 2022

Robby and Claire met on Hinge and had their first date at Little Fatty in LA

Spent the night talking about 90 Day Fiance and orange chicken.

Long Distance

June 12, 2022

Robby moved from Los Angeles to the SF Bay Area

They both got to know Los Angeles International and San Jose International airports intimately. Robby would make >100 Southwest flights over two years.

Roommates!

June 1, 2024

After two years of long distance, they finally moved in together in Mountain View, CA. They have an excellent apartment and enjoy the weekly Farmer's Market.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire. Think elegant garden party — stylish but comfortable. Dresses, jumpsuits, suits with tie, oh my! Block heels are recommended for ladies as the ceremony will be on uneven terrain. Layers are a good idea for the evening as it can get cool in wine country.

Where should I stay?

All guests have a beautiful, comfortable (and free) room at Roblar Farm! We would be honored for you to stay with us at Roblar Farm for our wedding weekend. Check-in is at 4:00 PM on November 6, and check-out is at 11:00 AM on November 8.

What airports are nearby?

The closest airport is Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), about 45 minutes away. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately 2 hours from the venue. We recommend renting a car for the best experience exploring wine country.

When will RSVPs open?

RSVPs will open in August 2026. You'll receive an invitation with all the details and a link to RSVP online.

What will the weather be like?

Early November in Santa Ynez is typically mild with daytime temperatures around 65-75°F (18-24°C). Evenings can be cooler, dropping to around 45-55°F (7-13°C), so bring a jacket or wrap for after sunset.

Will there be transportation provided?

Transportation between Roblar Farm and Winery for the wedding is still being figured out. However, you will need your own transportation to get to and from the property.

Where are you registered?

No gifts please! Spending the weekend together is all the gift we need.

Any recommendations for things to do nearby?

Exploring downtown Los Olivos, do a wine tasting at Gainey Estate or Sunstone, and hiking the Santa Ynez Valley Trails are all amazing options. Santa Barbara is around 45 min away - check out State Street and the Funk Zone for lots of food and shopping.
